Discussion

This topic contains the discussion - the portion above the line is being transcluded via the %DISCUSSIONTOPIC% setting in the META. Rendering is acheived using the DiscussionViewTemplate =VIEW_TEMPLATE setting.

If you configure your TWiki to enable {INCLUDE}{AllowURLs} (an expert setting) then you can also use it to discuss externally provided content.

You can set %DISCUSSIONTOPIC% to be any TWiki markup so using TWiki:Plugins.XmlXsl Plugin, you could discuss a transformed XML document %XMLXSLTRANSFORM{...}% or a data table created using the TWiki:Plugins.DatabasePlugin.

To simplify the creation of Discussion topics, a Topic Template can be created that suites your needs.
